Global Seal Content Creator Internship

The Global Seal of Biliteracy is looking for a highly creative & forward-thinking intern to assist with and own our content & design needs across all platforms of social & digital activity. In this role, you will get to spread your creative wings to help us develop exciting, new creative content that conveys the passion we have for helping individuals leverage their language skills. This is a role for current junior or senior college students. This role is remote and we encourage candidates anywhere in the world to apply.

The Global Seal of Biliteracy™ is an organization that credentials language skills to expand future opportunities for its recipients. Our language credentials use a uniform standard to empower awardees to be valuable assets in multilingual environments. We are committed to providing access to language certification to anyone that can demonstrate their bilingualism via testing.  The Global Seal of Biliteracy enables recipients to showcase their language skills to any school or employer across state lines and national borders, with a unique serial-numbered document. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing creative strategies across social platforms and website

  • Develop content and copy for social media platforms and blog posts 

  • Be responsible for the full marketing cycle of content (Content ideation, content creation, content deployment, and content measurement/analytics)

  • Partner with all team members to develop and bring to life ideas for content creation

  • Provide design support for various brand projects as needed

  • Have a pulse on trends and leaders in the social community

  • Competitive industry research on social trends and other popular brand content to make recommendations and create content that is fresh and forward-thinking

  • Maintain master tracker of content execution and metrics

  • Participate in team meetings to provide updates and track activities against timelines

  • Maintain marketing assets and materials and carry out appropriate updates as necessary

  • Write and edit copy for marketing content and external communications

  • Any other tasks reasonably requested to help team meet its goals


Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in college as a junior or senior

  • 1+ years experience creating content and design capabilities

  • Experience with various design programs including but limited to Adobe design suite, Canva, video & stop motion programs

  • Strong organization, project management, and problem-solving skills

  • Have a passion for language and/or the ability to speak more than one language

  • Desire to work in a fast-paced start-up environment

  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and assist on any task, even if outside core duties

  • Copywriting experience is a plus

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Adaptable to change and resourceful in dealing with obstacles that may arise
