Awarding Global Seal of Biliteracy Pathway Award Ribbons is a way to give students positive feedback that celebrates their language acquisition, but also signals their brain to do it again. The opportunity to level up to a higher award ribbon that leads to a Seal of Biliteracy encourages retention and ongoing success. The Global Seal of Biliteracy Pathway Award ribbons are designed to be awarded after students have taken a test of all four skill domains and have met a new proficiency scale level in all four skills, listening, reading, speaking, and writing, on either the ACTFL or CEFR language scale. There is a Pathway Award ribbon for each level leading up to the first Global Seal of Biliteracy "Functional Fluency" certification threshold.

The Pathway Award ribbons can be purchased singly or in quantities based on your student testing populations. They can also be used in conjunction with our new Global Seal Language Passport and Reflection Sheets that are under development.
